Tast a La Rambla
Date: 06/06/2019 to 10/06/2019
La Rambla becomes the gastronomic epicentre of Barcelona from 6 to 10 June.
The sixth Barcelona Gastronomy Week “Tast a la Rambla” will transform the promenade into a showcase for the city’s best gastronomy.
In the Santa Mònica promenade, the centre of the event, around forty of the city’s most important restaurants and bakeries – some with Michelin stars, such as Enoteca, La Barra de Carles Abellan or Xerta Restaurant- will present their offer in tapa format at a price of 4 euros. This year, the “Metropolitan Cuisine” area has been added as a novelty.
As usual, the Tast programs free activities (demonstrations and cooking and tasting workshops) at the Arts Santa Mònica to complete this fun-gastronomic experience.
This year the three restaurants that won the second edition of the Barcelona Restoration Prize stand out: Granja Elena, El Tomás de Sarrià and En Ville.
Under the terrace of Arts Santa Mònica there will be a special area for families with the exhibition “We are Profitable People”, to make children aware of the waste of food.
And at the end of La Rambla there will be musical performances by Músics de Carrer de Ciutat Vella and the Raval’s Band.
