Dinner with stars
Date: until October 2019
The activity takes place in the Fabra Observatory during the summer months and combines scientific dissemination and astronomical observation with a suggestive gastronomic proposal. The dinners take place outdoors, in one of the privileged viewpoints of the city of Barcelona.
Begins the evening with dinner, with an imaginative and delicious gastronomic proposal thought in astronomical key, with quality ingredients and good cuisine that is served on the terrace at 21. 00h. After dinner there is a 30-minute lecture on science, with the possibility of the public asking questions, followed by a visit to the museum, the newcentist room and the step telescope, and access to the great dome room, which preserves the original elements. From the dome they will observe elements of distant constellations, stars and much of the solar system, with the 1904 telescope, one of the largest and oldest in Europe still in operation.
