DGTL Festival Barcelona 2019
Date: From 23rd until 24rd August 2019
DGTL Barcelona is the Spanish edition of the famous techno music festival held every year in the Netherlands. With a musical backround that focuses on house and techno, has managed to bring together in a single event kids from around the world with the goal of creating a festival almost totally eco-sustainable.
It is held in a key place for this type of event, the Parc del Forum. The festival offers the best of techno music with names like: Anna, Charlotte de Witte, Jeff Mills, Len Faki and many others.
But what makes this party even more special? Without going any further, the importance that the organization attaches to sustainability. A real revolution for an event of this size. The organisers of the festival have signalled their intention to refocus attention on reducing CO2 emissions. You want to restrict the use of energy by using LED lights almost exclusively to illuminate structures. They will also try to reduce water waste. These initiatives, proposed by the DGTL, have made the festival a real example in the world in terms of eco-sustainability.
In addition to concern for the environment, the DGTL is also approaching the world of art. In past editions, in fact, the entire structure stood out for its creativity. They paid special attention to innovative design with a large number of extravagant eco-sustainable installations and impressive machines that spit fire. And that’s not all, since in this edition, DGTL Barcelona and Babochka will join forces to promote the third edition of the DGTL Revolution Market, a local and eco-sustainable fashion market to find unique design pieces.
